Copyright ownership
As I suspected the copyright on all material, artwork, packaging etc that is created under a Sindy license is owned by Pedigree Dolls and Toys, not the creator of the work or the licensee. For any work undertaken the copyright reverts back the Principal, in this case Pedigree. This is consistent with the contract Cameo Guild have for the Sindy brand.
We are happy for an acknowledgement to be included on the packaging boxes, along the lines on “Created for Cameo Guild by Anne Zielinski-Old”, however this must be accompanied by the full Pedigree copyright line as outlined above.

As I mentioned to you last week, all doll designs, packaging designs, advertising, leaflets and any other branded material must be sent though me for official approval. Could you let me know when I can expect to receive first materials through for approval??
